Hacktoberfest Has Begun

The WildFly Elytron project is participating in Hacktoberfest this month and welcomes your contributions!

What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest takes places annually during the month of October. This event encourages open source contributions from the community. To participate in Hacktoberfest, you simply need to:

  1. Register on the Hacktoberfest site

  2. Submit 4 approved PRs against participating project repositories during the month of October

  3. Choose whether you’d like to receive a t-shirt or have a tree planted in your name

What repositories can you contribute to?

How to get started?

Our contribution guide will help guide you through the steps for getting started on the WildFly Elytron project and will go through how to format and submit your first PR.

How to pick an issue?

We have created a list of good first issues to help you get started. These also have the hacktoberfest label.
